I think Kansas will win it all, but.... don't count out Iowa State, guards usually win the tournament, love that Monte Morris, and they're tournament ready, third toughest SoS, just a brutal schedule they've played.

I do hate futures betting, but this would be the year to do it. You generally need some decent star power to go all the way, so I would like to see odds for teams like MSU and Maryland. No faith in chokey teams like Kansas, Nova and Virginia. I'll be avoiding those until they give me a reason not to.

What does previous years have to do with this season? You know what 09 and this year has in common? Unc was the favorite to win it all, and you are saying they don't have a chance? I don't even know what to say to you. If you look at scoring ability, size, depth, and a team with veteran players unc has it all this year. There is no team playing head and shoulders above anyone else this year so it is pretty wide open but the thing you dont see with unc, like you see with other contenders this season, heels don't get routed. They are in every game to the end no matter the pace of the game or who they play so far this season which I think says alot considering the highs and lows of this season.

I kind of like KU because they are such a veteran squad. I like the Mason/Graham combo, can never have too many ballhandlers in March. They really need someone from the bench to step up, either Bragg, Diallo, Greene or the european kid. If UNC can figure it out, they're the most complete team. That team probably only goes as far as Paige takes them. Oklahoma is probably the most talented team, but on a neutral court they will lose chucking 3's and taking long jumpshots. At their best though, they're the best team in the nation.

There are going to be a lot of upsets. Purdue and Texas are built to make a deep run. There are going to be a ton of upsets. Feels more wide open than ever. You can probably make a case for 15 teams to win it all. Might be the year a 4 seed or worst wins it. I don't like futures, but will probably play some this year.
