I get the arb opportunity, but there was zero chance that Rudy got enough down to make gambling that there would be an arb opportunity worth it. This isn't like the old days where you could just book shop and see an arb hanging for hours. Rudy had the foresight to know his ML was good value, but unless he threw a dime on it then, who cares? Most likely he had Marist spread and small ML and both lost.
