Latest Gallup poll has Trump at SIXTY PERCENT UNFAVORABLE. This is the highest for any candidate EVER.
33% favorable; 60% unfavorable.

And it's not for lack of familiarity. Everyone has a strong opinion on Trump.

So how is he going to change the minds of those who view him unfavorably? He can't. Opinions on him are cemented. You love him, you hate him. Those who love him will walk off a bridge for him. Those who hate him think he's a joke. It's nearly 2 TO 1 against. That doesn't mean he can't win GOP. He can. It's a tiny slice of the electorate. Take all the people who vote in the GOP primary and it's probably less than 25% of the total GE voters. And then he gets maybe 30-35% of that. Do the numbers. That's like 10% overall. It's nothing. If he can't flip the unfavorables -- and he can't -- then he can't win.

A blank face Republican should beat Hillary. Trump might be virtually the only Republican who can't beat her. It would be just like the Republicans to nominate him.

The closest unfavorable was George H.W. Bush in October 1992 at 57%. He got crushed, and that was in a 3-way. If it had been head-to-head he would have lost worse.

Take people who view Trump unfavorably. Do you really think you can still change their mind? No way. You love him or you hate him. And the numbers don't lie. Almost twice as many hate him.
