Team Confederates is just a continuation of Team USA...as far as the standing go, you can treat it as one 24-seat team.

During the first week of qualification, 22 players accumulated rating of 600+. Specifically
17 for USA/confed
4 for World
1 for Canada

Using this metric as power ranking, my current odds for the finals would be the following:

+900 Canada
+250 World
-300 USA or Confederates (treated as a one 24-seat team)

Same story every year but USA didn't win the first 3 years of this and even came last once as well I think.

I'll keep track of tentative weekly lines. I'm sure the only way to play current early odds would be Canada +900. As long as they fill all 12 seats with decent short handed players it's more than worth it. Problem with early PR is it reflects the possibility they won't have 12 decent players, which is very unlikely.

These numbers don't mean anything. Each tournament is made up of at least 30 US players or more! In the finals we are all on even terms and players. So the numbers BEFORE the finals don't matter
