Its not rocket science, but ok then, I will explain.

A huge chunk of the ppv buys are from casual MMA fans, the type of punters who boo when a stand up fight hits the mat. Theses guys often buy the fight & invite their mates over, and spend the majority of the time drinking beer, talking shit & eating wings... Until the main event when they all start paying attention.

So people have barely even started paying attention & the fight is over. 1 punch. BANG. 12 seconds. Kind of an anti-climax. Connor's greatness actually working against his $$$ making ability.

How many of those guys do you think are going to hand over $50 for the next Connor fight, when they only care about the main event & probably have little more than a casual name recognition with most of the fighters on the undercard.

Mcgregor cards will continue to grow, he's the ufc's golden goose..he has a 13 and 4 second knockout, but he's not gonna knock out everyone in seconds, some fighters will last 2 to 3 rounds with him. Bleacher report is thin these days I agree!!! I was offered a writing job there a few years ago and turned it down..

I usually include bleacher report event write ups with every event thread still.. Bleacher report has dropped to the bottom of my interest list though as far as event write ups go.. MMAmania delivers, Combat press decent at times, few others coming on now, etc.... I never put to much weight into the event write ups but if you read them all they can at times provide useful information for the prelims... They help develop prop ideas at times also..

I will post all the event write ups on the event thread tomorrow.. Still waiting for one more to come out...

But I can assure you if he knew Conor was coming up to fight the champion then we would of saw a different Cowboy fight that night. If you dominated the NBA forum for 18 months, what's your take on today's games where Milwaukee, New York, Indiana, Boston, Minnesota, Dallas, Oklahoma and New Orleans all had games yesterday?

Is this a good day to make under plays to wager on those teams being tired from travelling / jet lag and having subpar performances? Or will them being tired mean their defense will be terrible and their opponents will score a lot of points causing the over to hit?

Worse style matchup for cowboy, best style matchup for mcgregor, plus mcgregors getting him while his striking confidents is at a all time high based on what he did to cowboy, perfect set up for a monster bet on mcgregor, he's gonna clean dos anjos clock quick, he got the red panty fight he wanted.
