i feel thats the only reason to take Minnesota. That they may want to win for their old coach.. But I don't think it's enough

this might be a fairly simplistic view in terms of handicapping, but I believe that Minnesota's losses were to very tough teams. Central Michigan's losses were to teams that I don't have much respect for.

thats an angle if it just happened after the season, but he resigned on October 28th.

I agree. They do a really nice job. Back in the 50s-70s it seems like way more service academy guys made the transition to the NFL. Roger Staubach was the last guy from a service academy to win a Heisman (Navy, '63). Just looked that up and it blew me away, had no idea he was a Navy guy.

Either way I'm glad I didn't get a bet in on this game. I got CMU +6.
