Last week it was San Diego's turn--they didn't disappoint in their potential home finale, easily besting Miami. Tonight we get to see Oakland go for the Sayonara 3-Peat. They'll bring their A-game on Xmas Eve to the rabid Raider faithful. The disinterested Chargers are traveling on a short week. Lay the wood.

I know this is a divisional game, but I've watched the Chargers and Raiders all season, including last week. My feeling is that the Chargers are getting a lot of hype from the last week phenomenon championed by squares (did you see them last week, oh!) while the Raiders played an improving GB team pretty closely. The Raiders have weapons. I haven't seen a D all year from SD, mostly. Rivers is easy to bet against, and I don't buy them. Last year Carr came up big in that Thursday game against KC and that wasn't a great team. The team has outdone all predictions and they are at home.

SD sucks. So does Rivers. Carr is legit and Oak can get pressure. Read between the lines on that last game at SD too --- Oak was up 30-0, and the final score was not what that game was like. At all. It is the NFL, but I can't see any argument for SD.

Exactly. This is the best angle for San Diego, as it's more of a play AGAINST Oakland. They haven't shown they can cover in this spot yet. Maybe they're due, but I'm not betting on that.
