Some VERY Questionable Activity in SBR Fantasy Football League

Never played on Yahoo. Played on ESPN a few times and I can only imagine that Yahoo's free leagues are probably just as shitty.

You should not be allowed to kok-block another member in your league by being higher in the waivers and picking up a free agent that they need and then dropping that player after they play on Thursday and picking up someone else. If you are willing to sacrifice a roster spot to kok-block someone, then you should have that roster spot locked for the remainder of the week if they have already played.

Kermie that's how it was explained to me. I assumed when you made a waiver pickup you were filtered to the end of the list. I purposely didn't pick up a D on Friday because some brain surgeon dropped DeAngelo Williams and I wanted 1st dibs on him.

i think you're misunderstanding waiver wire system.

the position only matters during waiver wire and not when the player is a free agent.

I've never played a yahoo league before but the rule is bullshit just as the rule that the worst record gets unlimited 1st choices in weekly waiver pickups. Neither make any sense and I'm sure there's an option to change all this.

Yes this is correct but it should change once you've made a waiver pickup. You can't just keep getting the 1st choice that whole particular week! But apparently that's how it is.

LT you've got to be kidding me. How could you even count division records when the schedule wasn't done accurately and everyone didn't play each other twice. Total points is always the 1st tie breaker.

JMON let me make this perfectly clear. I don't believe LT has done anything shady I just think he didn't change any of the stupid default yahoo setting like a commish should. No one in week 1 is gonna read what the division tie breaker is. It goes without saying that points for is always a 1st tie breaker. The schedule wasn't even set up properly. In fact, the divisions are totally irrelevant when it comes to playoff seedings so why should "division games" matter anyway? If I lose 3 "division" games 160-159 and another team wins 4 games 60-59 who's teams better? Then the issue with the waiver settings!!

I understand this is just a betpoint league but most that have played have invested 3 months of their time so want things done right.

Guys, just read Post 1 of league thread, all the tiebreakers have been listed since Day 1. It is just like real life, break division ties first before moving on to wild card/seeding tiebreakers.

This is all I'm going to say about this, and besides, even with a loss this week I am tied with LT in "division" record (5-4 - 6 teams in division why not 10 games?) and I'll have more points than him. Makes no sense at all to have two seperate tie breaking rules.
