the position only matters during waiver wire and not when the player is a free agent.
oops never mind, deangelo williams wasn't a free agent.Comment -

#74I've never played a yahoo league before but the rule is bullshit just as the rule that the worst record gets unlimited 1st choices in weekly waiver pickups. Neither make any sense and I'm sure there's an option to change all this.
I vote SBR Ivy as league commish next yearComment -

#78LT. Just to be clear. If you and I are tied at 9-4, total points FOR is the tie breaker for 2nd seed? I'm ahead of you by 35.5 points so, although I'm not a mathematician, if your score this week is not 35.6 points more than mine and I lose, I still get the 2nd seedComment -

#79this is the first year i've joined sbr fantasy so i don't know how it's been but couple things need to change next year.
division being one and waiver type being the other.
what's the point of having waiver wire position if the last place guy gets the first pick every time?Comment -

#82LT you've got to be kidding me. How could you even count division records when the schedule wasn't done accurately and everyone didn't play each other twice. Total points is always the 1st tie breaker.Comment -

#86If we have the same record I suppose it goes to points scored.
But given the likely outcome of another game, we both may make it, IF we both win.
I realize now how this setting could fukk me. Greaser claimed Williams and if he goes off tonight I could be shit outta luck.
If we had different settings he probably would not have a chance to claim him.
Phillyguy, yea I wouldn't expect you back next yearComment -

Stealty if we had a normal, in every other league in the history of fantasy football waiver rule you wouldn't be facing Williams.
Stealthy fuk it. Me and you in a two team fantasy league next year. You can have 1st pick.Comment -

#88Did the rules change during the league? Where the rules made available before the start of the league? Did everyone read them.?

#91JMON let me make this perfectly clear. I don't believe LT has done anything shady I just think he didn't change any of the stupid default yahoo setting like a commish should. No one in week 1 is gonna read what the division tie breaker is. It goes without saying that points for is always a 1st tie breaker. The schedule wasn't even set up properly. In fact, the divisions are totally irrelevant when it comes to playoff seedings so why should "division games" matter anyway? If I lose 3 "division" games 160-159 and another team wins 4 games 60-59 who's teams better? Then the issue with the waiver settings!!
I understand this is just a betpoint league but most that have played have invested 3 months of their time so want things done right.Comment -

#96Playoff Tiebreakers:
Division Leader
If two or more teams tie for the lead in a division, the following tiebreakers will be used to determine the division winner.
1. Division winning percentage.
2. Total fantasy points (season total).
3. Fantasy points scored in last week's matchup.
4. Fantasy points scored in the matchup two weeks prior.
5. The comparison continues until the tie is broken or no more weeks remain to compare. At that time, a coin flip will settle the tie.
Wild Card
If two or more teams tie for a wild-card position, the following tiebreakers will be used to determine the standings
1. Total fantasy points (season total).
2. Fantasy points scored in last week's matchup.
3 Fantasy points scored in the matchup two weeks prior.
4. The comparison continues until the tie is broken or no more weeks remain to compare. At that time, a coin flip will settle the tie.Comment -

#99This is all I'm going to say about this, and besides, even with a loss this week I am tied with LT in "division" record (5-4 - 6 teams in division why not 10 games?) and I'll have more points than him. Makes no sense at all to have two seperate tie breaking rules.Comment -
