Mark Sanchez to start for Eagles vs. Lions

Like cranberry sauce or awkward family hugs, Mark Sanchez is becoming something of a Thanksgiving tradition.

NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport and Albert Breer report Sanchez will start for the Philadelphia Eagles today versus the Detroit Lions. Sam Bradford (concussion, shoulder) will sit for the second straight week.


There were questions about Bradford's availability this week after the quarterback passed concussion protocol and practiced on a limited basis. In the end, the shoulder sprain suffered in Week 10 will keep him out another contest.

This Eagles defense has quit. It's easy to see they don't give a shit. No one is selling out, guys arm tackling and not trying to hit. Couldn't happen to a worst coach.
