Though it's hard not to go with the champions, NYG could be their kryptonite. Tease or pass on this one.

Giants know they play Pats well and will be more ready for this game than a complacent Pats outfit..Comment -

#22There is no such thing as a sure thing in the NFL. But, this time the Giants defense is rated almost "dead last" in every category, and 31 against the pass. Brady might actually be looking forward to this game. Just my opinion.Comment -

#25Lifelong Giant fan checking in.
Yes, Giants are Pats Krytonite, now let's look at the game objectivly.
Best way to beat NE is through the air, pass defense is Pats weakness.
Best way to beat NYG is also through the air.
So if it's going to be a shoot out, Eli and Brady, which QB do you want your money on?
Now, while you are in a question asking mood, ask yourself what crappy pass defense is the least crappiest.
(The correct answer is the Patriots pass defense is the least crappy, and the Pats pass defense isn't really that crappy, they are middle of the road)
Giants are not going to beat NE on the ground, they don't have an A. Peterson type power back or an uber multi-purpose running back like Matt Forte that can catch a flare out of the backfield and bust one for 30 yards, I'd like the Giants a lot more if they did have a beast like Lynch or something, but they don't they have a Jennings who is a RB2 in a RB1 role, Shane Vereen is a nice little 2 way back, he can break a big play with his solid pass catching out of the backfield or over the middle, but I don't see that happening in this game.
I really don't see Giants running game being a factor in this one.
Beckham is going to get some, and maybe even more than 'some'
Really don't think it's going to be Eli to ODB all day, Belichick will come up with something to counter that, double team-blanket coverage something like that, so if NE handcuffs Beckham, what's the alternate source offense. Victor Cruz is eating salsa on the sidelines again, he's rulled out.
Eli isn't Cam, has zero srambling ability, drop back pocket passer.
Ruben Randle and Verreen have to involved for Giants to win, dink and dunk to Verreen and Randle downfield.
Jennings isn't going to beat that rush defense in backfield, neither is Williams, Donnell is all sorts of banged up, he'll start at TE anyway, but he's a crappy TE anyway.
Giants o-line?
Please.
I really do like the tacklers Flowers and Newhouse (or is it Brickhouse?) Flowers being the unofficial leader of that line, here's the problem, Schwartz and the other two jabronis in the middle of that line are going to get steam rolled up the middle.
Giants don't have an answer for Gronk (who does?)
Who has been paying attention to Edelman all season, that #11 dude been all-pro all year, no Dion Lewis, no problem, Blount is more that capable, Danny Amandola is that all purpose punt returner WR2 guy that has and can run a WR sweep from the backfield every team would love to have.
Pats have the much better special teams, they have that place kicker that is a robot, automatic never miss.
I love the Giants, ever since I was 8 years old, for the G-Men to win, they have to get to Brady, stuff Blount, shut down Gronk and whille they are at it force Brady into 2 mistakes.
Coughlin ain't Belichick, and Belichick is a son of a bitch bastard that would love to hammer Giants in their backyard, and he's also the son of a bitch that will throw the ball on you late in third if they are up 38 to 6.
Giants can win this if the special teams make a big play or two, Eli completes a hail Mary to Tyree and Plaxico hauls in a perfecly placed end zone fade.
New England has just too much and Belichick is a master of plug in / mix and match personel.
And I'm a Giants fan.
Lay the 8 or pass.
Bet the over or tease the over down or pass.Comment -

#27Gotta also remember this isn't the Giants team who beat Pats for those 2 rings either (think they only have 2 remaining players left from that era) whereas the Pats still have several players who would remember the hurt from those defeats...
Starting to think the line should be +10 for the Giants in this spot...Comment -

#28Would feel a lot better with Giants if they were in Foxboro getting the extra 6 from Pats having home field. Giants a better road team, I think Pats win this by double digits but Giants stick around 1H with Pats pulling away lateComment -
