Everyone needs to calm down. With Bradford at qb, this team is obviously not a contender. But due to the garbage division (and thanks to the Romo injury), Eagles will make the playoffs and host the falcons, which will be a toss up game. Can you really ask for more then a 2nd round game from this team? I'll take it.

Going forward, the d is set up nicely as long as Cox gets resigned (which he will). There is talent all over the field on that side of the ball and they will be a top 5 d for years to come.

On offense, the line needs to be addressed. This is my only complaint with what chip has done so far. This needs to be the focus of this upcoming offseason. They can pick up a wr through free agency and be just fine with the combo of Agholar, matthews, ertz, ect.. The run game is fine. Obviously the big issue is QB. They forfeited a 2nd round pick with the hopes of turning a deal for Mariota, or worst case have a one year tryout with a #1 overall pick in Bradford. Foles was obviously not the answer, and they forfeited a 2nd round pick in a gamble which doesnt appear to be working out. Cant blame Chip for trying, as Foles was taking this team nowhere. So who knows what the answer is. I personally would take a flyer on Kaep. Not in love with bringing in a 29 year old qb that relies on his legs, but he has been healthy, and still doesnt appear to have lost a step physically. Wont be surprised if the eagles explore that route.

Either way, ill be happy hosting a playoff game this year and best case, enjoy a 2nd round game where anything can happen.

How can you possibly think that? You're thinking just like Chip, let me just plug in any WR and my system will work. It doesn't. Matthews is garbage. He's made critical drops WEEK AFTER WEEK. I was listening to the Reese/Quick broadcast 4 weeks ago and Merrill Reese makes a point to say, "Ohhh, this Jordan Matthews kid keeps getting better and better." I penetrating spit my beer out of my mouth all over my keyboard.

I'm not saying Bradford has been great and has made pinpoint passes but he has delivered catchable balls and his WRs have let him down big time.

I long for the days of Torrance Small and Charles Johnson.

Chip Kelly is not a good fit for the NFL

His spread offense is pretty much the laughing stock of the entire league

He leaves his defense on the field for more than half the game. Eventually they get tired.

This is not college football where you can just plug in any player you want.

Talent combined with good coaching wins in NFL

This guy recruits 6th round draft picks that went to Oregon 5 years ago.

Chip has used a high draft pick each of the last three years on the passing game. You build though the draft in this league. Though they haven't panned out yet, what more do you want from him? My complaint is that he hasn't drafted any offensive lineman since lane Johnson

You can't let 2 top 15 NFL WRs just leave and replace them with nobodies....

People always use the word "talent" when it comes to the eagles, but the reality is, they have no talent on offense. They have a great trio of Rbs, but that's it. Their WRs are horrible, their o line is horrible, and their qb is horrible.

along with the bums that seattle and ne has won with on the outside over the past few years... not saying its a good philosophy, but its the one many coaches are going with these days.. don't spend money on the WR position. To chips credit again though, he has spent high draft picks in three straight drafts on the passing game.
