Surgery starts at 1pm on Monday. Will be in ICU for 1-2 days after that. Hopefully be out of the hospital by end of the week. Will be out of work for about 2 months, so you might see more of me here than normal once chest gets better. Only so many episodes of "Army Wives" and "SVU" that I can watch with the wife.

My uncle was rushed to the hospital last night he had a minor heart attack and after doing tests he needs a quadruple bypass. He is in his late 50's but has always been healthy and active. It can happen to anyone at any time.

actually have taken Xanax the last couple of nights. Main nurse has been a male , so no ass smacking there. Surgery has been put off for at least one day. Temperature went up to 101.3 yesterday, so the doctor made it a no go for today.

Surgery done Tuesday. In the ICU recovering. Ended up being a 5 bypass surgery. 3 arteries were 90% blockage, and another 80%. You don't know how humble, and fortunate I feel right now. A meaningless infection in my saliva gland led them to eventually finding the blockage. The rest of my life is now house money, and I am going to take full advantage of it.
