Just found out today that I will be having quadruple bypass surgery. Probably going to happen on Monday. You guys keep the degenerate habits going, and I'll hopefully be back a couple of weeks after the procedure. I might post a few times from the hospital over the weekend in my beautiful gown with the rear end opening. Good luck to you all and God bless.

Couple of things, you'll probably feel hot afterwards, ask for a little fan, also a cold, wet washcloth on the forehead will feel amazing. The patients that do the best are those that are up walking early and often and breathing on their little hand held breathing machine every few hours. Don't overdo the pain meds, You'll be constipated enough as it is. It will be tempting, but only take what you need. You will think you've died and gone to heaven the first time you get ice chips after surgery, you're gonna be absolutely parched. You'll do great KLC, you do your part and your dr will do theirs.

And as gaucho said, clean your chest incision with warm water and soap as soon as they'll let you, probably post op day 2 or 3. The shower will feel amazing.
