I'm just a sucker capper that bought south Alabama to +7 for an action play based on some line movement, public fade, national tv spotlight for the sun belt home field, and an offensive coordinator that arrived from UAB to the Jaguars staff with 8 transfers that followed him to the new program.

Hate to use word "fix", but these stand-alone Tuesday Sun Belt games have had some strange results over the years. In this case, my model has Arkansas State -8.5.

However S. Alabama is in the middle of a huge $150 million university "onward & Upward" campaign. This will benefit education, research, athletics, arts & humanities. They have reached over $73 million already. I know u r asking how this effects this game but since they just brought in a new off coordinator & transfers it looks as if its "all hands on deck" for the entire jag's to me. I know an Adm can turn some screws & provide incentives for employees. Just an fyi guys since my stats suggest Ark St.

My quick input:

Arkansas St better team/program right now, battled tested and experienced. South Alabama will be riding emotion to start game, this is big spotlight game for their school. AD wants this. Ark State beat them pretty good last year, gives USA little chip to play with it. UAB's offense coordinator is now at USA along with 7 other UAB transfers. This is a better team than last years, losing double digits. Wire to wire, 60 minutes Ark State is still more rounded and talented, but home game, Tuesday night, both off week's off, any score would not surprise in the slightest.
