Sharks are your favorite team if I remember correct, right? Dunno what you saw in them tonight though :P Stalock in net, playing back-to-back on East coast, no Couture, no Martin, bad spot vs Islanders which are one of the top East teams so far.

Preds were up 2-0 vs Isles few days ago. Isles turned it over in 2nd part of the game to win in the end. Just how they play. They had more fuel in them than Sharks too I guess since Sharks played last night. Don't be pissed off.

...Sharks were still undefeated this season heading into this game...they played without Couch last night as well and won...I mean you can look at it from various angles and draw different scenarios on how this thing can unfold

Sharks were actually dominating the first two periods in this game...and had the lead 3 times

He made some really good saves. Also saved a penalty shot in 1st period to keep his team the 1-0 lead heading into lockers. They started well in 1st period but just got outplayed and outshot later on. Islanders had more power in them so they dominated second part of the game. Hits were 30-15 or close to that for Islanders in the end.

No, I think Jones would get lit up as well tonight because Sharks got outplayed in the end. It was the best decision to let Stalock take the fall today so Jones will continue to seem perfect since he is the number one and off to a poetic start.

They traded Jones and I was thinking "Ok, Quick will start 90 % of the games anyway and I'm sure they have another goalie up their sleeve in their AHL team". But then they acquired Enroth. That's just absurd decision. Lost Angeles Kings... I feel sorry for Enroth, I really liked him in Buffalo last year. Now he will face the same destiny as Jones last year, limited ice time. Hope they trade him to a more worthy team at the deadline.

Martin Jones had 550k salary in the past few seasons behind Quick. Enroth has 1.250M salary this year. Though Jones has 3M in San Jose now. Could be.

Was another reason he was traded as he was gonna demand more money and they are so cap tight. Especially being cap hit with Richards contract until 2031
