Maybe the books are wanting to lure in more bettors to take the Colts. If people are thinking the Colts will win by 7, they"ll like the 6.5 better. (to avoid a potential push). Could be the books want to recoup a little more from their loss on the Seahawks / Packers game. Could be Jets or nothing here. I might stay away from it.

Throw the number out on the game. Play the better team. When I capped this game the number I came up with was 3 so I think this number is inflated. I think the books know the number is inflated that is why it is dropping. Either way I have the Colts in a teaser to two games from yesterday so all they have to do is win. Jet's have appeared to be tough this season but this is a huge stepping stone to win in Indy. We will know who the Jet's are after this game is over. And remember just because the Colts lost last week nothing says they have to win this week. Jug head was running for his life last week.
