Why Do Men Love to Gamble But Women Don't?

I guess this applies to many different types of things, but some things men love and women hate, and vice versa.

What is it about sports gambling, and maybe sports overall, that men find appealing but women don't? Is it just that we are all biologically more action junkies than women? It's something I was just thinking about and thought I'd pose the question to you guys.

Women tend to value money more than men and can't mentally cope with losing large amounts of money on a bet. They focus on the dollar amount they lost and consider it a waste of money. With us men, our first thought after losing a big bet is to find a good line to get our money back. If women lose a bet, they say well thats it im never playing again. Even women who gamble tend to be generally conservative with their money. I play poker with many women at the casino and I repeatedly pick on them andraise their big blind with air because I know they are never calling unless they have a monster. If they ever call, I know its time to shut it down. Usually they bring a couple hundred and when they lose it they go home. With men, you seem them buying in over and over and over all night.

Everybody knows women gamble with machines, slots, lottery tickets, dog track type stuff, OP is talking about sports betting, sure some do, but no doubt there is no comparison with men. Id be willing to bet more women are doing the fantasy stuff than gambling on sports, sports gambling as in playing sides is a different animal and I dont think youre going to find too many who's going to have the desire to care enough to constantly put in the work to be profitable at it. If Im wrong Id like to know who these women are. Little $5 or $20 parlay tickets or even on a side, thats powder puff, Im talking really gamble.
