Only way it might be preventable is to confiscate every weapon and allow no guns whatsoever. Even then, there would still be some leaks. Since that's never going to happen, and it shouldn't, it is not totally preventable. It just isn't. An evil person with high-powered weapons can walk into soft targets -- like a club, a mall, a workplace, etc. -- and can inflict heavy damage. If those things even matter so much then how come Trump wiped the floor with his competition while Hillary couldn’t beat a guy who no one had ever heard of a year ago without the help of the superdelegate scam ?
