Bernie Sanders was supposed to offer up the Senate version of the Audit the Fed bill introduced by Ron Paul in the House. However, at the last minute, he repealed the bill and sabotaged it by introducing a watered down version of the bill that did not require a full audit of the fed. Here is the situation as explained by Ron Paul. And here are the texts of the bills in question:
H.R.1207 - This is the bill proposed in the House by Ron Paul.
S.604 - This is the original bill proposed in the Senate by Bernie Sanders, which has Ron Paul's language.
S.A.3738 - This is Bernie Sanders' modified amendment which completely changes the text. Since this was introduced only in the midst of a floor debate, the language is found in the Senate Congressional Record. You can see the exact language at the bottom of the first column, starting at "SEC.1159 - GAO AUDIT OF THE FEDERAL RESERVE FACILITIES; PUBLICATION OF BOARD ACTIONS." This does not require a full audit of the fed the way Ron Paul's bill did (specifically, does not remove exemptions for transactions with foreign central banks, etc).

I am not sure I am sticking up for Obama. I judge shit as I see them whether you like it or not.
Take Trump for example. If he makes bad decisions as president I will say so. And he will. You'll see. I won't judge him negatively on what he might do as president like some others. If you read any of my posts over the years regarding what kind of president America needs, Trump ticks off almost all the boxes. He ain't far right or far left. He's a deal maker. He's written best sellers about it for goodness sake. He's worth anywhere from 4 to 10 billion, depending on who you talk to and he doesn't need the money. He has no donors to repay once elected. He wants to make his country great again before he dies. How can anyone not like this guy is beyond me.
I have said it dozens of times that I was hoping Obama would be a great president. I like the guy actually and wouldn't turn down having a few drinks with the guy. As a president however, he sucks balls. No ifs ands or butts.
