Teams shifted their defenses to stop Moss. Teams like the Packers changed the way they drafted so that they could try to slow him down... And they still couldn't. Double, triple teamed he still made ridiculous catches and that's with a bunch of hamburgers throwing him the ball until he got to New England. Moss #1 in my book.

Anthony Munoz was easily the best offensive lineman who ever lived... Orlando Pace a distant 2nd...

Deion Sanders went seasons where he only got thrown at 25-30 times. He'd still have 5 picks taking 2 to the house. He would let guys get open just so they would throw his way.

Being dominant isnt the same as hall of fame career... The guys on my list were men amongst boys... they made a mockery of opponents. Bo Jackson, for the short time he played, was as dominant as any RB not named Jim Brown. He averaged 5.4 ypc for his short career, had runs of 55, 62, 73, 88, 91, and 92 yards, in only 38 career games played. He averaged 6.8 yards per carry as a rookie.

                                            Otto Graham per wikipedia:

Graham is regarded by critics as one of the most dominant players of his era, having taken the Browns to league championship games every year between 1946 and 1955, winning seven of them. With Graham at quarterback, the Browns posted a record of 114 wins, 20 losses and four ties, including a 9–3 win–loss record in the playoffs. While most of Graham's statistical records have been surpassed in the modern era, he still holds the NFL record for career average yards gained per pass attempt, with nine. He also holds the record for the highest career winning percentage for an NFL starting quarterback, at 0.814.

Manning, White, and Payton need to be on any list like that.

Defenses back in the Otto Graham days were never taught how to defend a forward pass, and half of them had Polio.

Hard to have a most dominant list without the minister of defense on it.

I understand but if ypc is the dominating criteria for why he's on the list then there are other guys with higher career ypc and a ton more tds.

Graham only played 6 years in the NFL, had 74 tds and 74 ints, hardly dominant in that respect. Before that he played 4 years in the AAFC.

Adrian Peterson in his prime deserves a mention....in the last decade or 15 years or so I would say Adrian Peterson, Randy Moss, and Ed Reed
