Nice cheating by the timekeeper lol. Spurs should have tried for 3.
The end of the spurs dynasty is within sight

#109Tonight is the night that it happens. Manu and Tony are useless now. Timmy is still great but he is getting worn out dealing with jordan and Blake. The fact the spurs couldn't close out a game 6 at home is very telling. Also there best player was Marco belinelli. Lol. The clippers will close them out tonight. I expect it to be a 7-9 point win.
Clippers -2.5-105(25x)
guy knew clips would win but gets buried by the hook for 26.25 units

#116match-ups, depth, and home court. it's very very simple.
Clippers have 1 match-up advantage and that's Paul, only due to Beverley's injury.
every other match-up the Rockets own, and by a wide margin.
Rockets can match athleticism and they're very physical everywhere, especially on front line and wings.Comment -

the Rockets starters will NOT perform like that. they're vastly younger, more athletic, and more physical than the Spurs' starters. Rockets starters will even outperform the Clippers starters.
so when you combine that with their superior depth and home court, this series won't be close.Comment -

#132it happens pal. refs aint perfect. there were missed calls on both teams all game long. no sense in blaming the refs for a win or lossComment -

#133true, but the Spurs starters (outside of Duncan) were absolutely horrific all series long!

#135I think Clippers will have easier time to beat Rockets. Sure, Harden is better than CP in term of scoring. Howard and Jordan is probably a wash. Griffin is way better than Jone. Rockets cannot hack a Jordan, and Rockets' reserves are not much better than Clippers'.Comment -

#138Rockets will have no chance if they play fast, which McHale seems obsessed with doing lately. Rockets are a great defensive team when they want to be, but they go through long stretches playing none when they're allowed to just chuck-up 3's out there.
only chance for Rockets would be to slow it down and turn it into half-court ball, where their post game + Harden/wings could potentially wear Warriors down. will McHale be smart enough to make such an adjustment? i don't know, can't say i trust him a whole lot.
i was thinking about taking a shot with Memphis before Conley got hurt, but that's a no play now. even if he ends up playing some, i don't trust his particular injury for the duration.Comment
