Took a conservative approach to start the tourney. After some results I will look to bet further. I know I will give up a ton of odds, but I'll trade it for accuracy.
Twizzle...excellent stab at Matsuyama, you may not hit, but nice play.
Remember guys, when buying a future like golf you are giving away a ton of vigorish...at least 25% maybe even 50%. A sure sign that we are getting ripped off...when the book only offers one side of the bet. You can buy Rory to win the tournament, but did they offer Rory to lose the tournament? Many times, this is not the same pricing as a field bet.

You can take the field against Rory. I think the price I checked yesterday was -740 or so.

Yeah, I know I was using Rory as an example. But it's a good point, when offered, the price may seem high, but that's because the vig is still ridiculous.
But for most of the golfers, you can not buy them to not win...a sign of high vigorish.
The same is true for any major sport futures. We can get a team to win the superbowl, but how about the same team to not win the superbowl?
My point is that is an area where the bookie gets away with highway robbery. Managers in Vegas openly admit they can get away with this because of the unsophisticated nature of their customers.

Ben Crenshaw shot a 91. I know he is 63 years old but if you are going to shoot 90+ you shouldn't be on the course. 20 yr champions exemption is bogus.

I don't mind being nostalgic, but there's gotta be a line drawn somewhere.
