He needed to go. His coaching was horrendous.

He was too stubborn in his old school ways.

I want to why the line is going up on the Bucks. Could the Nuggets suck anymore without him?

You would think they play better without him. LOL.

That happens when a coach gets canned. Especially in baseball.

Bucks are a lock here. The Nuggets are garbage and have given up. Will only give up more with no head coach

normal trend in the nba do not apply this year. usually when a coach gets canned they play harder and cover. just like when a star player is out in the first game, the whole team plays harder and covers... not this year.

nba is a big crapshoot with +ev trends this year.

I think it's 1-1 on that angle this year, both applying to Sacramento. When Mike Malone was fired, they didn't cover in their next game under Corbin. Then when Corbin was canned, they covered in their first game under George Karl.

Guy is one of the best Assistant Coaches in the NBA. He is already getting multiple offers for that kind of position. Plus, with the way things are going in NY it wouldn't surprise me if Phil Jackson looks at Shaw to replace Fisher

Are you rolling about the AC comment or the Knicks? I didn't say it would be a good hire for NY, just going off of Phils picking Fish in the first place. Shaw is a very good AC

Shaw could be the next Mike Brown. That coach that has failed everywhere he's gone as a HC, but poorly run organizations still have them in the running to be their next HC and nobody can figure out why.

Actually, nowadays with tanking, this isn't always the worst idea. Kings should have signed Karl for next year and just kept Corbin as a lame duck.

Take Nuggets HUGH today they will at least put in one good game for the new coach

They could still tank with Karl as coach and have him locked in to coach and make player evaluations.
