This is the first terrible trade I believe the OKC Thunder have made

How are they going to go out and get a ball hog chucker and put him on the floor with KD, Westbrook, Serge and Reggie Jackson

He took the most shots tonight, went 6-16! Went 1-9 in his opener

I admit, I know little to nothing about the guy but I do know the Thunders schedule is only going to get harder

They've either got to relinquish him to being a 10 minute a game player and limit his touches or they're going to miss the playoffs

They have dug themselves too deep a hold this year for the Western Conference

I hate this trade by the Thunder

I vaguely remember when they picked up Caron Butler, it seemed like they let him shoot quite a bit early on, so maybe they're just seeing what they've got and if there's any natural chemistry. I dunno

But they've got to start winning games and in bunches

They're a terrible perimeter defending team as well. If they go in at #8 against GSW, they may as well not even play the series.

If they got Lopez, that could change things drastically

Kraken- Im a Cavs fan so Ive watched Waiters quite a bit, and honestly, I like him, and I was mad the Cavs gave him up. No question the dude is a chucker when it comes to shots, he did it in Cleveland too, but the kid has talent. He just tries to do too much, and he isn't a good lockerroom guy. I think OKC took a gamble on him, thinking they can turn him into a productive player... I wouldnt give up on him so soon... but yeah, I feel your pain. Hes a frustrating player to watch when hes on your team, but theres still a bright future for him if he can get it through his head he doesnt have to put up the numbers his teammates do

That's the recipe for success with them, they've gotta have KD, Westbrook and Serge shooting a majority of the time for a majority of the games.

STAX you know more about Waiters than I and I'm glad to hear he's a raw talent, hopefully he can play within a proven system and complement the team. But he's probably the 5th best offensive option on this team right now.

He will get you steals but isnt a great defender at all. Waiters needs to be a game by game decision on number of minutes... when he is on and playing team ball he is borderline all star... when he is throwing up bricks he seems to try and shoot his way out of cold spells... if Brooks can get him to accept his role he will help you guys out a ton. He started for Irving last year at PG when Irving was hurt, and he looked awesome... but when he played with Irving he tried to one up Kyrie it seemed. He desperately wants to be a superstar and best player on his team. Problem is when you play with Love,LeBron, Irving, or Durant, Westbrook, Ibaka you arent gonna be a top option... and he tries to be, even at the cost of team ball

The thunder are great at building up talent, but are horrible at acquiring it through trade and free agency.
