I sometimes pick more games just for the heck of it, but you have no chance of winning the monthly prize if you missed games. Don't bother chasing it.

Like I posted a different time, unless you can be on the Internet multiple times a day, every day, don't bother for the monthly wins. I'd love to win $2,500 or whatever, but there are thousands of people who are online all day, every day, and I can't do that.


You'd need to be online once every morning, twice every afternoon, twice every night. For the entire month. I can't even do that for a week.

Gotta start at the beginning of the month and do it all day every day. Your #1 priority should be getting in as many picks as possible. Ignore your streak. Just keep picking.

you're looking at as many short games as possible.

never do NASCAR or golf unless there are no games within the 6 hours after the scheduled start time.

Do soccer, of course. Soccer is the best for this. Also bowling. College basketball was good, but it's ending now.

You'll have to do a lot of hockey and NBA when there's nothing shorter.

Avoid MLB if you can do hockey or NBA instead.

unless you have a streak of over 5, I'd say to blindly pick any ML that's -150 or worse.

That's what I did with UNC-Villanova.

No idea why UNC-Michigan State is posted tonight, but hell, I'll take it if they're going to post it.

I'm rooting for Michigan State, but realistically, UNC has an 80% chance of winning, and you'd be crazy to pass that up in Streak for the Cash.

I was online and could have picked the Yankees, but I checked 20 minutes ago and the soccer game hadn't ended. I checked back but forgot until 4:06, and missed the deadline by seconds.

yeah monthly wins is tough, you will have to nearly never miss a game, maximize the most picks you can make in a day, and hit around 70% for the entire month.

you need to average about 2.5 wins/day to be close to winning. use that as a benchmark, if by the 10th you dont have at least 20 wins, you probably should just go for the streak.

i was thinking about starting a spreadsheet keeping up with the games but i've been a bit lazy.

I think tomorrow, there's some "value" in Charlotte PK over 76ers. Looking at real line, Charlotte is -5 and now for this down to a PK.

Especially when the public is on the 76ers, they are wrong enough. I'll take the home team who is the favorite in the game. Getting an extra 5 points in also nice.

Haven't decided on the early games though...either White Sox or Arsenal...both big public %, but they win sometimes too.

When you're trying to get a good streak started, you can take a bunch of losses on games that were a coin flip.

they added Royals/White Sox for the afternoon. So you have three options for your first game. I think I'll take the White Sox for my first pick instead of a soccer game.

Tampa Bay/Boston is an irrelevant game if you're trying to make a lot of picks. Has to be omitted.
