#17you can make that argument, but you also have to realize that international hoops is/was the equivalent of Triple A baseball or maybe college basketball (maybe worse than that during his days)...anyone who is anyone, comes to america to play in the Nigerian Basketball Association... he said he always wanted to keep his amateur status to play on the national team, but he was drafted in like the 5th or 6th round one year... obviously, no nba franchise saw much promise in the guy, even if he did score at will in the brazilian and italian leagues...he probably hated the draft and felt better being dominant instead of being abused by nba guys his size and probably riding the bench for the rest of his career... so its really hard to compare him to a guy like ginobli who is a top level player in the top associationComment -
