So they have the best pitcher in the series = a WS?
Doesn't worry you that so many of SFG post season runs have come from average D/small ball, think that's going to happen against KC? Ain't no fat arse at first base to give them any freebies yes you Matt Adams. I'm no SF hater , love how they play the game and they've made me some coin this post season (mainly v Wash just watched the STL series really).
GL but this one looks too easy for me, KC 4-1.

With u stax.
Royals melt under the spotlight of the big stage and giants will show their class having been to the big dance already a few times during past 10 years.

good luck.
probably won't even watch it myself.. couldnt careless about either team and IMO these are not the most entertaining teams to watch.
Would have loved to see a Dodgers vs Tigers series

Ur not a baseball fan. Tigers. And dodgers would have ended in 7 tie games. 2 teams that don't show up.

I would say san francisco is winning even when their offense isn't clicking and it's kind of scary that their three best hitters have not hit a homerun and yet, they are 8-2 in the postseason. If you believe in things balancing out, kc is the team due to get cold bats when their. 200 hitter has hit 4 homeruns.

i am a baseball fan. I actually played the game for over 30 years.
i am just intrigued by this matchup either from a betting or a fan stand point.
it just very dissapointing seeing the whole MLB season unfold just come out with 2 wild card teams in the WS.
i dont feel like we are getting to see the best teams play. these teams just happened to get hot at the right time. There is no star power and honestly it would not shock me if neither team hits a HR the entire series.
it does not have the same mistique as say a Scherezer vs Kershaw matchup with heavy hitters like Miggy, V-Mart, kinsler, Hanley, A-Gone, Puig, Uribe and Puig.

both teams just got really lucky.

I like the Royals to win the series because I think that "best pitcher in the series" will lose Game 1 and then the pick'em price on KC will be looking real good. And I do agree that Bumgarner is the best pitcher, but was not sharp last night and may be wearing down a bit after so many crucial post-season starts, whereas Shields will be going on 10 days rest that he looked like he needed.

Youre just mad because you tried fading the Royals and they made you look like a fool time after time.

Single by Escobar, Aoki hit by pitch, and Cain bunting to advance them put them in the position for what happened next.
Great management by Yost, not lucky.
Again....8-0 is by no means lucky. Ive been lurking these forums for a very long time but I was triggered to post for my first time cause you're a huge dumbass.

I am refering to the 2 runs score at home plate on a play that is normally a routine out.
b/c of the way Caleb Joseph tried to apply the tag he allowed the runner to kick the ball out of his glove.
the Royals did not exactly earn those runs.
anyway i do admit i have been wrong a bunch during these MLB playoffs.
yeah i was awful at handicapping these playoffs, not afraid to admit that.
but i am just saying the Royals have luck or magic on their side whatever you want to call it.
They play a very ugly brand of baseball that is not exciting to watch IMO.
Litterally any team with a dominant pitching staff would have beaten the Royals. I mean all the O's had to do is score 3 runs in each of the last 2 games and they would have won both.
Dodgers, Nationals, Tigers well litterally anybody with a decent staff would have been able to beat the Royals but the fact that Angels and Orioles staffs are mediocre they allowed a piss poor offensive team to eek out just enough runs each game.

Im not doubting KC belongs in the WS at all. They are on a sick run... but Bruce Bochey is one of the best managers in recent history. People in KC are still calling for Yost's head, even though he is 8-0 in the playoffs so far. Ill take the team that has experience, the better manager, and the best Starting pitcher at even money every time.
I have nothing against KC, I liek them, but if you say they haven't had luck on their side, what games are you watching??? They've gotten as lucky as any team Ive seen in the baseball playoffs in quite some time. When you are lucky AND good, you are basically unbeatable... which KC has been. You dont win 8 straight baseball games in the playoffs, half or more of them in extra innings, having to come from behind in all of them without being at least a little lucky along the way. Giants have been lucky too FWIW... Ill say it again. When its pick em on a series, and one of the teams has experience, the better manager, and the best starting pitcher, Ill take that team every time

wild card teams seem to end up in the WS these days. It's not like the Cubs are playing the Astros. Should be a great series.
