We have two 6-0 teams ranked in the top 5. Florida State is at home. I'm sure the place will be very loud. Both teams have played Syracuse and had similar results.

Golson is a bigger opponent to ND than FSU is. He has something like 9 turnovers in his past 3 games. 3 of those turnovers cost ND 21 points yesterday.

i'll take the double-digit dog on a recreational wager. Notre has more to gain, FS more to lose.

Why wouldn't Notre Dame score a bundle, too? FSU's defense hasn't exactly been lighting the world on fire. Hell, Syracuse was moving the ball on them yesterday with a backup qb.

Love the Irish this week, maybe not to win, but keep it close. FSU has not impressed at all.

FSU isn't as good as last year, but they were a juggernaut last season. Up by 30-40 points at halftime almost every game. They are not that team, but they are still really good. People are acting like they suck. Their schedule won't be bad when it's all said and done, they're certainly entering the meat of it.

I don't think people are acting like they suck, but people are acting like they're beatable, and they should be. This is a team that had trouble getting past Okla State and NC State, two average football teams. I think Florida State is a top-10 team, but not a top-5 team. Their offense is still solid, but the biggest difference between this year and last is their defense has some major holes in it. They need to be careful because Notre Dame can move the football and this could turn into a shootout if the Noles defense doesn't start to make strides. While I think they'll escape with a win, I do think Louisville is going to give them a really hard time.

any chance both teams make the 4 team playoffs?

i think both get in based on strength of schedule assuming both only lose once.

Interesting question actually. If Florida State goes undefeated and this is Notre Dame's only loss, it could happen. In that scenario, choice for fourth team could go down to Notre Dame and SEC runner up, joining SEC Champ, Florida State and Baylor/Oklahoma winner. I wouldn't even consider Oregon or Big Ten Champ if above scenario takes place. Those two teams need a lot of help IMO.

I don't think Florida State can afford to lose any games. ACC factor.

But they are probably out of they lose just one game. I don't think they will lose outright this week (although I like Notre Dame + points), but I could see FSU losing at Louisville in that Thursday night game in two weeks.

Thursdays seem to be cursed for ranked teams i know. But I do not think it's easy to beat a well rested FSU. I think being ranked in position 2 will give a extra motivation to jimbo s team.
Ah yes, im the number 2 now, see how I destroy louisville by 20 and notre dame by 30. Who is the number 1?

Fact that I think Louisville has a better chance of upsetting Florida State outright than an undefeated and ranked Notre Dame team should tell you something. The Louisville defense THIS YEAR is superior to FSU's, the big question is can Louisville score. And they are supposed to have their quarterback Gardner and their best receiver Parker back in time for that game.

Interesting because ND has the Ville in late November at home. If FSU beats ND, loses to the Ville and then ND comes back with that win. It could actually put them in assuming they beat USC the following weekend. Would FSU get in though?

                                                      depends

if public is heavy on Notre Dame + the points I will stay away

otherwise I would lay a little on them

you can never trust Quarterbacks with a tan

too unpredictable and not very smart

thats why they never will work in the NFL unless they are half pale and have the 2013-2014 Seahawks defense
