    Broncos cut Matt Prater
    Broncos released K Matt Prater.

Brandon McManus has won the Broncos' placekicking job and is worth owning in all fantasy leagues, despite a slow statistical start. Prater's base salary was $3 million while McManus only costs the veteran minimum. Now an unrestricted free agent, look for Prater to resurface quickly. Still only 30 years old, Prater was one of the best kickers in football last season.

Very shocking...But who needs a Kicker when you score TD's every drive or end with 20 yard FG's...I'm sure they'll with they had Prater around week 13 when they are playing for a 1st rd bye.

You'd think they could have at least traded him for a punt machine and a few footballs.

I had just picked up Prater in 4 leagues too in an attempt to beat the rush for him next week. It actually worked out good for me though because I now have McManus in all 6 of my leagues.

That's the logic. In the playoffs, AFC Championship or Superbowl do you want this McManus kid to kicking the winning or tying field goal. Prater has been clutch and made ton 50 plus yards game winning kicks. Stupid move, considering how many terrible kickers has killed their teams from making it to the Superbowl. Like David Akers and that Ravens kicker.

                    Yes, Tennessee.

Denver Broncos kicker Matt Prater broke the NFL record for longest field goal with his 64-yard conversion Sunday. The kick cut the Titans' halftime lead to only one point, 21-20.

It was only at the half, so should not be too painful.

They stayed with the kicker who made 3 field goals from 20 yards.
