The dreds are all over the place...
Anyone have a clue with why it is so popular? WHY? For some reason every time I see a mop hanging out the back of a helmut, I simply want to rip the SH*T out of it.

(I kind of agree on the dreads thing, but I can't necessarily blame guys with gross, dry/nappy hair for wanting to roll with dreads or a shaved dome. I'll take anything that allows human kind to avoid a resurgence of the high-top fade.)

It's mostly cultural and it plain and simply just look good to some people. Some of your comments are as ignorant as they come but I do understand that some of you haven't really ventured out, and interacted, and in some cases; even seen African Americans , except for what is fed to you on the tube or on the INTERNET!

Agree. It is used too much. Larry Fitzgerald has dreads and he is a pillar of the community. It's an in look. It's popular. I heard Opie is trying to ditch the 1999 highlights and get some dreads of his own.
