If you can beat baseball LONG TERM my hats off to you every bookie I've ever talked to LOVES baseball season and it isn't because they're losing money.

The games will be very low scoring also and very very boring
i'm thinking the over/under for kershaw/wainwright will be 2.5. and i would consider under.

I meant IF you're going to bet baseball, playoffs is not the time to do it. Much harder to find an edge than regular season, imo

4 games to set lines on instead of 15, much higher liquidity to shape lines at pinny...less edge. If you are going to bet its gotta be on the overnight openers before any +EV evaporates though I doubt it matters. No way you see a 5 total the lowest total of the playoffs will be coming game 1 LAD STL...I would expect a 6U -120 and if they take early action on the under could drop to 5.5...I dont think they can open 5.5 even with the cards anemic offense.
Only 5.5 totals I remember seeing were a couple years ago when the dodgers or SF used to go into Petco and Latos was pitching and the Padres had that beasty offense.

I worked in a sportsbook for several years. The sportsbooks know they are always gonna lose at baseball long term. They also know they are gonna make those losses and then some with football. If sportsbooks could get rid of baseball, they would. Baseball is the easiest sport to bet, Vegas knows this. It's the NFL that is their bread and butter.

Maybe they lose overall with "sharp" bettors, but squares they make a killing off mlb...just look at majority of posters on sbr...not an easy sport at all unless you have the inside scoop or some kind of system...and lay off heavy juice.

I've got a great baseball system that has yielded me money for the last two years....it's a grind and puts your NUTS to the test on the daily but works.
