Whether his employment as NFL commissioner follows likely hinges on if the Ray Rice scandal continues to flare up and damages the league in a tangible, long-term way (i.e. revenue).

There is a huge culture gap in this country, and we are seeing it play out. For many black people, usually those from poor, all-black community backgrounds, this is normal. The men beat their women. The women just assume they had it coming. Remember when Chris Brown beat the sheet out of Rhianna? All the black girls on Twitter were saying things like, 'oh he can beat me...' 'I'll let him beat me if he were my man,' and so on.

This is a cultural thing. It just so happens that the NFL PR office caters to the white, left-wing PC crowd who despises sports, especially football (but loves soccer because it's not American). However, for much of the NFL, the above culture is in effect.

I know I just offended a bunch of people, but it's true. We have to see past the PC screen and realize the true issues. To more people than you think, this is normal.

Keep in mind Steven Smith was suspended from PC-ESPN for pointing out that she had it coming. Why did he make this otherwise insane comment? Because he comes from a culture where the men beat their women and the women are OK with it because they feel they had it coming. It is a cultural issue that the PC crowd turns a blind eye to.

Oh no, they know it's racist. But many black people are very insecure about being black. That's why they talk about race 24/7. They are self-loathing. However, I believe this issue is different. In the Muslim world, the men also beat their women. It's considered normal (they too have huge self esteem issues as well, actually). Same thing. In low-income/education black culture, the men beat their women and the women believe they deserve it. Steven Smith summed it up nicely without knowing it.

I disagree my friend. He grew up in a poor black neighborhood in Queens and then attended a black college. He was probably raised to believe that women should get beaten when they have it coming.
