the video shows her ignoring him when he spat on her, slapped her then knocked her out. if it showed her coming at him with a knife and he knocks her out, obviously it would've been justified and he'd still be a raven.

Agree that the indefinite suspension is a joke and will not hold up when Ray appeals it. Now everyone is playing the Devil's Advocate game when there obviously should have been felony assault charges in the first place. The real bombshell will occur if someone can prove the NFL had seen this and still chose to give Rice a 2 game suspension. However, to say it was self defense is beyond ridiculous. He could have seriously injured her or even killed her. Hardly a just response to the situation.
