#5Oregon not only wins the Pac 12, they win it all. Stanford is lucky to win 10 games this season. Oregon is much faster than any other team in the nation. They also have a great QB whom they lose after the season. They also know that USC get their full allotment of players next year, will have a Top 5 recruiting class, and will be very solid at every position. It is now or never for Oregon if they ever want to win a NC, something that they have never done.Comment -

#9the PAC 12 title game has a set location of Santa Clara (the new 49ers stadium) so if Stanford gets there that would be a big advantage for them.

#10No one will be at the championship game because the traffic is so bad around that area that it takes well over an hour to drive the 17 miles from San Francisco to the stadium. Then add on parking time. The worst thing the Pac 12 could have done was to schedule this game on a Friday Night.
I do not like UCLA's chances because they finish the regular season at Washington, then USC and Stanford at home. In the mean time, Oregon finishes up at Utah, vs Colorado, and at Oregon State. Huge advantage for Oregon.Comment -

#12Highly doubtful. Oregon plays close games against Oregon State at home, but for some reason, crushes them in Corvallas. The last 3 games in Corvallas have ended up 48-24, 37-20 and 65-38 for Oregon. Utah is 5-13 against Pac 12 opponents the last two years. Certainly those two teams pale in comparison to Washington, USC, and Stanford. UCLA will be tired and rather banged up after those three games, if they make it to the CC game.Comment -

#13I agree that Stanford and SC will be physical games and that will wear down ucla before the conf title game should they make it. I'm not sure how physical Washington will be under peterson but Seattle will be coldComment -

#26Stanford may not be that good this year. They have just one returning offensive lineman and lost three running backs including their top two rushers. If Ducks don't beat them in Eugene this year, they never will.Comment -

#27The ducks beat them in Eugene by 21 in 2011 so if Stanford wins this year to make it 3 in a row is just a mini steak is not the end of the worldComment -

#28Yeah, "never" was a strong word. My main point was this is the year they HAVE to beat Stanford. Oregon will lose guys next year while Stanford will be more experienced than they are this year. Not to mention losing to Stanford could cost Ducks a spot in final four.Comment -

#29If anyone thinks that Oregon QB Mariota is NOT the best player, much less the best QB in the Pac 12, they have a serious problem with college football. There is no way Hundley would have been a first round pick, much less the first QB taken in last year's draft.Comment -
