Yes, NBC started showing EPL games, and I think this has turned people on to COMMERCIAL FREE sports

I probably would never watch a soccer game if it had as many commercials as football and basketball do now

Yet without all the commercials it is very pleasant to maybe make a bet, watch a half, make a sandwich, watch another half without tons of commercials. Can't do this with football or basketball which have become unwatchable

As soccer gains popularity look for a way the networks will ruin it though
