It is overrated because its dry

85 in NJ and humid is way more uncomfortable than 105 and dry in Vegas

Fishhead I would love to hang out with you and JJ in Vegas. The heat would most likely cause you both to strip down to your boxers. My fantasy becomes a reality.

        Call me.

There are numerous plans in action ..........the Lake Mead issue is serious, but is blown out of context by most all.

That is 80% of it......still! only 10 or so days a summer where concerning.....complete non-factor other days in terms of heat.

Been here close to 30 years, have a grasp on this.

I heard this summer in Vegas all hotels turned the A/C off because the heat is not bad. Customers love it!

Once again Fish is so full of shit.
And no one is turning off the AC in Las Vegas. People would die.

I got to Las Vegas on July 1, 2014 and when I walked out of the airport I stopped dead in my tracks. It was like being in a hot car on a hot day and then turning on the heat. Its absolutely penetrating disgusting.

People are brainwashed that's so hot you can't go outside

Yesterday it was 105° and I I sat by pool and didn't even bother me

People are weak and very narrowminded

Meanwhile I'm walking 18+ holes of golf and carrying my clubs on a 7100 yard layout......non-factor.

Must be a cheap, public muni. No good course in LV lets you walk and carry your clubs.

I have played one course in LV where we walked. But at that track...caddies carried our sticks.

Boulder City and Las Vegas Muni both allow one to walk course.....only way to enjoy golf.........carts suck.

Angel parks two 18 hole courses used to allow walking, sure they still do, as some other courses also in the city do also.

I live in Houston, just got back from Vegas, holy crap it was hot. Walking out of the casino into the 5th floor Venetian garage was like a frickin Sauna. I know the humidity is bad here in Houston, but 110 degrees is hot even with the 10% humidity in Vegas. I'll prefer Vegas in March or October.

You can bet more offshore and online and sit on the beach in the afternoon, a week in the islands or costa rica golfing, fishing and drinking by the beach beats the desert any day in my book. What were the limits like last year for college and nfl in vegas?
