#37I would go to EOG and ask Fishhead. He has been there for years. When I lived there I had house near Maryland and
Sahara. It was older neighborhood and quiet. Anywhere off the strip is really normal boring USA. I think Fish would reccomend
Green Valley.Comment -

Exactly. Like I said, living on the strip is not for everyone. I personally love the fast life the strip has to offer. If I wasn't any good at playing poker, I'd still be working a lousy 9-5.
THANK GOD FOR POKER!!!!Comment -

#42I have two friends who lived there. The location is, of course, awesome. The apartments are very nice, but small. The price is very high. One of the towers has a problem with wind interacting with external architecture resulting in very loud noise. I can't recall which of the towers has this problem, I think it's the southern most of the two, but for the prices they charge I would want to make 100% sure I was not in the building with the howling wind noise.Comment -

#43I lived in the Manhattan Condos on S. Las Vegas Blvd., right near South Point Casino.
Paid 1000/mo for a nice 2br. Close to shops on Silverado, Blue Diamond, and a it's a straight shot to the strip. Took no longer than 15 minutes most days.Comment -

#47Mac ...Sherry took away my private messaging. She was angry one day and just didn't have a vendetta. I called her out on tennis pics and this is how she paid me back .
Places like the Manhattan are pretty good and reasonable but what always scares me about places like that is anybody could live next-door to you because the prices are high. I think most of the time you're okay but you can get them lower element there. I don't know how they're built meeting you hear people walking above you etc.Comment -

#49Thanks for some of the feedback, but i was asking to buy for around $150 000 in a nice area. It doesn't have to be on or right near the strip. I know ther is some real nice houses for that price range, just want to know what areas. I've heard of Summerlin, Henderson, Lone Mountain etc. I have been to Vegas 60 plus times but always stayed in a strip hotel, never really ventured to far out. Anyone who has lived in any of these or nice areas with feedback would be greatly appreciated.
ThanksComment -

#50Critter has a point if you do buy something for 150,000 any ghetto people from LA could come and move there.
150000 with a 30 year mortgage 10% down is not a big payment
To get rid of the riffraff I would think you have to go to 250 or higherComment -
