I'm not taking anything away from them, but I gotta say: They beat Uruguay without Suarez (and yeah, they had a great match). And after that, they beat Italy, who had to play in Manaus the game before.

Talking about Manaus:
This stadium is a killer. Playing there is like playing in hell.
England - Italy, 1:2. Next game England lost 1:2 and Italy lost 0:1.
Cameroon - Croatia, 0:4. Next game Cameroon lost 1:4 and Croatia lost 1:3.

Last game there was..... Yeah, exactly, USA - Portugal (2:2).

Yeah, honestly I think it is a really important fact. The heat and humidity really HAVE a big fat effect on the teams.
It absolutely fukks with your body.
Same goes for games played in La Paz f.e.: Guys always wonder why The Strongest or Bolivar f.e. are able to beat far better teams from Argentina or Brazil there. Simply because this Stadium takes its toll on your body.

I'm not one to blindly fade or tail a team because of factors like Stadium, Fans, etc etc etc. BUT: I think a punter should take all these little things in consideration when betting a game. And yes, I do think that the Arena da Amazônia in Manaus has a major effect on teams who had to play there under these extrem circumstances and have to play another big game just a few days later.
