    Big day for New Jersey
The Supreme Court is expected to announce whether they will review New Jersey's battle with PAPSA today.

    3 possible outcomes.

    1. They Justices say no. penetrate you New Jersey.

    2. They Justices say yes.

    3. They vote to relist the case. If this happends, odds are the Justices will more than likely take the case, as it usually means they are lining up the 4 votes needed for review.

Approximately 1% of all cases get heard by the Court. So this is a long shot. But, we shall see.

This is actually the best news for us sports bettors in jersey we could've gotten. Now instead of having to wait, they're going to go through with sports betting in jersey. They're going to approve a bill in jersey that allows it instead of waiting to hear from the supreme court. Lesniak did an interview with boomer and carton last week and said if this happens there still going to push forward like legalized marijuana in colorado

You can thank Obama for this decision. Obama and the Liberals are against this, while Christie is in favor of this. Obama's cronies brought the case forward. New jersey can push forward if they want, but the bottom line is that federal Law superceedes State Law. This entire problem can be resolved if Christie is elected President and decides to do away with the Federal Law. He obviuowsly is on the gamblers side here.

If nj does go ahead and ignore laws and Feds get pressure from an organization it will get shut down.

this is not really a partisan issue-and even if you are the kind of dope that needs to place blame on one side or another, this isn't an issue at all if REPUBLICAN governor Christine Todd Whitman didn't decide to make sports gambling legal when she/her admin had the chance.

and the loudest voice against legalizing gambling in NJ, which pushed the court cases entirely, were the big 4 sports leagues plus the NCAA. The owners of which are traditionally old rich white men, eg, republicans.

edit: I neglected to add the the original bill was written and sponsored by NJ Demmycrat Ray Lesniak

If sports betting is legalized in jersey, does this effect jersey customers through offshore books in anyway? Obviously not directly, but I know some offshore sites arent allowing nj residents to play poker/casino, im assuming cause of the legal online gaming. If sports is legalized, can we expect offshores to stop nj residents from playing there?

                              That's a good question.

Unless there is something written into NJ's law.. I would suspect they wouldn't do anything.

If Pinnacle and others came back to USA they would really hurt this especially if allowed to use paypal and ************. I do not think anything will be allowed like though.

I sure as hell hope not. For me personally, sportsbook wagering offers me absolutely nothing. Im completely dependent on offshores.

They declined. Sucks for everyone. Hopefully NJ keeps pushing ahead somehow.
