These European World Cup teams are like the BigTen in NCAAF
Lots of history and hype but overrated
Thought Germany was the exception but no

Best 3 teams of 2010 World Cup were European. Two met in Final.

Overreaction much? I would take Germany/Netherlands/France against any 3 other teams in the tournament to win it

How about Euro teams are 5 for 14 ATS playing non Euro teams this world cup
I stand by the analogy. like the big ten with american football euro teams have the biggest leagues, great developmental coaching, and tons of interest but have difficulty against guys who grew up kicking around a goat bladder in the dirt

I would not be surprised if a European team wins it this year.

Just think you are taking the analogy way too far...yes some Euro teams have played terribly this WC but some teams expected to do something falter at every WC...it's not like every Euro team is just collapsing. Also, the two top South American teams (Brazil and Argentina) have done nothing impressive so I think it is still early to rush to judgment. Gotta give credit where credit is due to Colombia, Chile, and Costa Rica for looking very impressive early but I'm sorry if it's an elimination stage game give me Germany or France over them any day of the week.

You can have +100 on every team except Europe if you're so confident.

It's not about confidence just making an observation
