On what grounds should he punished anyway ? NBA is a privately owned organization and it will have to punish him b/c of the public outcry. But this is an illegally recorded tape of a private conversation. So they might be able to tell him not to attend the games and ask him to sell the team. Anything beyond that would be improper and not legal. More importantly, how will this affect the Clips ? My guess is that the league will make them lose the 2nd round series.

"Hate" is tough to quantify. He looks down on black people for sure. Whether that's hate or whatever, he has a "plantation" point of view and it's not cool. In 1992 this coach was fired at unlv after two years for violating state and ethic laws and unlv laws by stealing from the state. In 1996 this coach was again fired at clev state when a handful of his players were arrested for major crimes and serious academic fraud was uncovered . But he claims Don made one comment and we have to believe his word 100% yeah ok!

omg this is the worst of them all. Elgin said these things when he sued donald for racial discrimination after he was fired as GM of clips. He was GM for 22 years and we ABSOLUTELY SUCKED FOR ALL 22 years until we fired this worthless GM. Then he sued for racial discrimination AND ELGIN LOST THE CASE BY A 12-0 VOTE . Larry I pointed out a few things about the issues you have highlighted. Don has said and done some things we are not happy about but that doesn't mean he is not attacked sometimes by liars and scum.
