    Pitt/BE over-rated 2nd half thread
second time i've made a thread with pitt and over-rated in the title....

just keeping it real for all my haters.... It wasn't just ACC teams I hated on.

I Like how Dixon is using his whole bench, to keep his players fresh for other games (most importantly starting march 19) as other big east tourney's may have worn them down...

I guess he kinda has to, due to some fouls....

it is very refreshing to see a team hit all their free throws thus far...

if WVU keeps getting to the line & hits their shots from the field 2nd half they can win by 8-12

I'd kind like to see Pitt down by 5 with 3 mins to go, to see if Sam Young can step up in big pressure and carry pitt

ive waited a long time for this thread
i parlayed pitt with univ washington however, so i would appreciate them not being overrated today

why do they tighten up later in seasons? i have not watched this game. what is going on exactly?

      I had a pitt over-rated thread a month ago....

WVU has 13 free throws that is the difference... .WVU is a solid solid team.... big rivalry game WVU desparately wanted pitt after they beat them 2x this year... they were pumped when they saw the brackets and seedings according to the quotes

they should come back strong second half.... Blair/Young should start to wear WVU down and collapse the D, and then I think Pitt can knock down3-6 big three pointers...

so.... is there anyway one can say that Louisville is better than Pitt if L'Ville wins the Big East Tournament or at least gets to the Finals? I'm still wondering why Louisville is an "IF" team but Pitt and UConn are "locks"

the only fear with UL is their ft shooting
you saw what happened at the end of the WVU game. but clearly they deserve a number one over pitt right now, im with you there.

i seriously have no clue how the **** pitt beat uconn both times, i really dont.

The only question I have about Louisville is their smarts. They dont always play with their head but relay too much on their athleticism and talent.

No Louisville isn't better than Pitt. Because Louisville has a few weak early losses, and played an easy Big East schedule. It really isn't that hard to figure out.

Pitt just layed it down. You can look at the low line and see pitt did not care about the game. They can now go home and rest up. I listened to the postgame on the radio, and the pitt coach and players were not even mad. Some of these teams already in the ncaa tournament care less qabout the conference tournament.

That may be the case. And if so, that is a complete 180 from previous years. Jamie Dixon has always put a ton of emphasis on winning the Big East tourney. It is a big topic of discussion here in Pittsburgh whether they should try less in the BE Tourney to focus more on the NCAA.

Not to take anything away from WVU because they played a great game.

early losses make Louisville inferior? How about the game when Louisville beat Pitt? Outside of playing at UConn, what was the big difference in the scheduling? Also, Louisville played a much tougher BE schedule than G-Town last year but nobody seemed to care
