    Fat Joe strikes again
I'll say it again, how this guy still has a union card is beyond me.
Oh, I know, because he can throw left handed, I cry myself to sleep every night because I was born right handed.

WTF was Texas thinking, "yeah, we'll sign this hamburger, what could possibly go wrong?"

Longoria actually did Fatty a favor by knocking him out of the game with that line drive screamer off his ankle or he might have given up ten runs.

If I catch any of you betting this hamburger I'll have to hurt you.

    J Saunders 3.2 6 5 4 3 4 1 89-48 9.82
Nice WH/IP there tubby, 2.45, not quite your weight, but close.

I agree. The problem I have though is that every time I fade the piece of hot garbage he always smokes me. FML.

              Cavalry is on the way.

Yu is back tomorrow. Colby should join us next week. Harrison should be here within a few weeks.

He won 14 games in 2011, and followed that up with an 18 win campaign in 2012.

                    I'll take that any day.

I got excited...thought this was about Joe Blanton.

Has anybody signed him? An alert needs to go up if he ever makes it back to the majors.

Always thought he was smoke and mirrors. He's struggling with injuries now...which isn't his fault...and when he comes back he'll be a shell of his former self. Though I guess if he can log 5-6 IP a game that's all you can ask for...

Joe Saunders is terrible but not fat.

Blanton is fat and terrible think OP must be confused.

And now he wants to be called the pitcher that formerly was called Fatty Joe Blanton, he's down to 230 or so now.

Joe Saunders (ankle) could take Robbie Ross' spot in the rotation next week.

Saunders is making a rehab start with Triple-A Round Rock on Thursday, possibly putting him in line to rejoin the Rangers' rotation on May 20. The lefty could also be an option to replace Martin Perez (elbow), who could be headed to the DL. Saunders has been out since early April with a stress fracture in his left ankle.

What really amazes me is what they pay washed out players because of what they did 5 years ago

                                                look at the Mets
Granderbay 60 mill 4 years ......last year he hit 229 oh you say he was injured ok the year before 230 with a butt load of Ks
Chris Young 7 mill this year he is hitting only 202 and they say he will break out of his slump....ummm he hit 200 in 378 abs last year
what slump???? He is 2 pts higher guy never goes over 235
