Like UCLA, Anderson is the type of guard who can carry a team to make a run.

i like that top 8, except for NM..they dont score enough. if they matched up w/Duke i think duke would simply outscore them. Tough to fade parker and hood.

I wouldn't call them "hot" but Kentucky seems to be playing their best basketball of the season these last two games and I think it continues against Florida. As a seed that likely won't indicate their overall talent if this team finally comes together they could really turn some heads.

I disagree with this. Sure Providence has won 6 of 7 coming in and just upset Creighton but there body of work resembles nothing of a Sweet 16 team. They feasted on the bottom half of a weakened Big East and even though they beat Creighton twice lets not forget that they will have to find wins against better teams. Cotton is very good but how far can he carry them? This is a team that nearly blew a 20 point 2nd half lead to St. Johns. Its that inconsistency that will do them in. To me Providence will be lucky to win a game. They can't possibly get thrown in higher then an 8 seed which will really give them matchup problems when they have to run into some of the better more complete teams in the country.

Louisville looks like a team that is about to make a final four run if not go all the way. Nobody wants to be in their bracket.

The original post mentioned just the round of 64, so I'll add one to the mix for a first round upset--Georgia State. Of course they have to win their conference championship game today....

something to remember with Providence they are one of if not the best free throwing shooting teams in the nation if I remember correctly. That is such an advantage in close ball games come next week.
same thing with George State if they do win today.

Just saying they have the potential to get there with the right draw.....Don't care what they did in November, I watched their past 3 games and they can get hot, and quick....They have some big bodies that rebound and Cotton can carry them in a close game.....I'll check back in when I see where they get slotted

Agree they seem to be one of those teams whose draw could mean either Sweet 16 or one and done.
