then take,

you have now created a win/break even opportunity, rather then be greedy and go for the whole 295.

we all were wrong in what we said last night, in some aspect or another.
To make it simple:
Arbitrage: A guaranteed profit on the game.
ie, you have the Seahawks to win $3k on a futures bet where you risked $1k
bet broncos -120 where you risk $1800 to win $1500
so in this example, you win $1200 if hawks win and win $500 if denver wins.
Hedge: This means to either reduce the position you have on 1 team by going the other way, or going for a middle where you can actually win both sides.

In last nights game, Wizzle had no guaranteed profit opportunity (unless there was one in live betting)
