Slopes is in the news. Canadian boys blasting Sean White for not participating. Sport looks insane.

Team Figure Skating... with analysis.. wow.

Maybe we should add snow soccer or snow golf. The events now.
Slopes. they all look the same to see. Canada doing good though.

Should be some more good wagers coming up though.
Betting against the Canadian dance pair. I think the fix is against them this year.

Shaun Whites a freebie. Can someone give me odds on that my book won't have 'em til the games start, assume it's short (as it should be, no contest).

I faded McMorris (slopes) big time today. He is hurt. No chance he can pull out a victory.

Figure Skating.. Bet the Russians in the team event.

Never watched womens ice hockey before. But if Finland is the 2nd best team the US women look like a lock to me, the way they are running them in circles.

Even with just 1 goal so far.

seems like barely anyone actually knows the background of players. Probably alot of money to be made by knowing some athletes in depth. Alot of money to be made with head to head matchups

Canadian women are far from a lock.
they are more of a lock than the mens side... although im canadian and could be biased but trying to be as objective as possible i dont see teams like muirhead can challenge them when theyre on their best game which they have been sharp since the olympic trials in december against a very solid field there

just watched them dismantle china 9-2 in 7 ends which are supposed to be one of the better teams in the field

Berger needs to overcome the ~30 second lead Kuzmina has in Biathlon from the Sprint, but I think it's very achievable, and the odds speak to that with Kuzmina only favoured slightly over the Norwegian. Kikkan Randall is in absolutely dominant form right now as a sprinter and the only person that can catch her might be Marit Bjoergen. I think Randall comes through here though. And Petter Northug had a disappointing start in Sochi, but at these odds, he's hard not to back. I've also taken Northug in the 50km Mass Start now as the odds have climbed to +371 from the +260 they were at prior to the Skiathlon, however that event isn't until the 23rd.

Other strong contenders for gold are Shaun White in the Mens Snowboard Half Pipe and Sara Takanashi in Women's Ski Jump, but you have to pay -220 and -160 respectively to back them at the moment (Pinnacle). Shaun White should win but I won't lay that price. Takanashi could be challenged by Iraschko-Stolz, who is also in prime form.
