Nova- great breaking ball but his fastball gets hit hard often. He can be good though if he gets more consistent with command.

Pineda was a all-star with the Mariners but i know he hasnt pitched in 1.5 seasons so it will be interesting to see how he does this season.

Yankees and Rockies both look great offensively on paper to me but they both have a handful of players who tend to get injured a lot.

i think it far to say odds of anything you predict being accurate are longer than stros to win the world series..

Careful of the Mariners OVR win total. It's going to be a glamor pick this year, and the books know it.

Also they're not very deep. A few ouchies, and it's definitely going under. If I bet totals like this, I'd be on the under. Yes, it's like the Royals last year, but people were calling them a breakout team every year for five years before they finally became one.

              With that pitching rotation?
              King Felix
              Iwakuma
              Paxton
              Walker

stuff wise only the Dodgers , Nationals, and maybe Tigers are better.

Erasmo Ramirez too. I just worry they're too young.

If they were smart, they'd just follow around King Felix 24 hours a day. That'll work.

They were the luckbox team last year. Horrible offense, I believe they set a record for whiffs, relied on huge hits and long balls.
                      Overachieved bigtime.
Great under bet this year, even in that weak division they may be .500
Fwiw, I was looking over the baseball magazines today. Nearly all of them have the Braves winning the division or making the wildcard. Personally I like the Nationals this season, but still like the Braves to win the wild card. If they know what's good for them, they'll bench Uggla and start LaStella. I'm a Braves homer though so...
