I really don't think this Syracuse team beats down too many half way decent ACC teams. I'm an avid Orange fan, but the offense is really lacking for this club. I know Duke is scuffling and overall not that strong, but I can see this being another ugly low scoring Orange win where maybe they pull away to win by double digits late if that.

Considering it is a Saturday prime time game and the on campus attendance record is about to be shattered, I would think it will be -4.5 to -5.5 opening line. 36,000+ fans going to be at that game. Duke was impressive in their win over Pitt. Syracuse has a great defense but their offense has been very limited lately. Unless Cooney starts to hit his 3's again, Cuse is in trouble on Saturday. They do three things that, if they don't fix them, they will not be able to beat elite teams: 1. They cannot put any team away, seen them up 8-12 points second half in almost every game to then blow those leads and come close to losing. 2. They are aweful on the line shooting free throws, they drive to much and get way to many fouls to be shooting this bad. 3. They rely way to much on offensive rebounding to get second chance points, they will not be able to get that many offensive boards against good teams.

With that said, Cuse plays up and down to their competition. Good one to watch, tough one to bet.
