Just won $30000 this past week.. what to do now?

I've never won this much money in a short amount of time, I'm ecstatic right now!
Has anyone been in my situation, and know what to do after winning big so fast?.. I'm in my mid 20's and never learned good money management. Before this big hit, I only had 100 pocket money.
Should I enjoy & cash most out , or continue on hot streak, play big/small? I'm feeling extremely lucky.. SBR community please help.

Ive been in your spot before, scored 20K in a poker tourny when I had about 500 to my name. If you don't have it, learn self-control, and youll be fine. Dont think you have to turn 30K into 300K in a week. Respect the money, its easy to dismiss a few hundred or a thousand when you have plenty of money behind. I know a guy who scored 300K in a WCOOP event and was broke less than a year later, its easier to turn into a degen when you are rich than when you are poor

Cashout as much as you can NOW!!!

1. pay off all debts

Of what is left:

1. 50% use as your gambling bankroll (learn BR management if you havent already)
2. 25% use as a reward for yourself (vacation, gambling trip, TV, computer, etc)
3. 25% put in savings account

if this is the case, then you are in for a challenge my friend. Best thing you can do now is do not gamble at all until you receive your money. Its OK to keep some on the site you are on, but do not use it until your check is in the mail. Its VERY easy to lose respect for your money. When you have 30K for a few days, and all of a sudden you are down to 24K, it doesnt feel like being up 24K, it feels like being down 6K... TAKE A BREAK!!!! You arent missing anything, and everything will still be there tomorrow

I know what to do in these spots, doesnt mean I abide by my own advice. That just shows how easy it is to fall into the trap. Ive blown 2K - 10K scores in matters of minutes bc I dont have self control. not every time, but it has happened... dont let it happen to you... it feels shitty, and it takes a while to recover. I wouldn't go more than $500 on any game and if it was me I wouldn't even consider betting this much except very rarely on my absolute best plays, and if those lost I would not let it affect my future wagers. Pretend you're a professional gambler. Discipline is one of the easiest things to teach yourself because you can start and stop being disciplined at any time. It's within your power to be disciplined no matter what mistakes you have already made. But the absolute first thing I would do is take a week vacation. By the time you're done with that you will have a whole new outlook on gambling and you will really appreciate your small fortune and perhaps you won't want to gamble anymore!

If your itching and have no self control your prob screwed. Agree with others that cashing out and saving money is best but if you don't have control you will drain that. You will miss a game you "love" while waiting to re up. It will win. You will blow re up on game you just like and it will lose.

Cash out and get money out of your hands. Either buy something so you have something tangible or invest in a cd or something that doesn't allow you access to your money. Maybe give it to family and tell them not to let you have it back for 2 years. That's a down payment on your first house. You will be sick 10 years from now when you figure out how hard that 30k is to make in real world.
