There are at least a half a dozen european leagues that are better competition and more talent than the NBA D-League.

Let this sink in, the max contract for a guy drafted into the D-league, is somewhere around $28K a year. Seriously, no joke. Grant Jerrett was the no. 1 overall pick in the D-league this year, and his contract maxed out right around the poverty level.

Contrast that with the fact I don't know a single player who went overseas and didn't see a 6 figure contract. Hell, guy I am in constant contact with got paid 6 figures to play in Puerto Rico.

D-League is awful, the stats you see there are terrible barometers. If you can't stack stats in the d-league, start applying to be a car salesman.
